Probably not. I have read, never one of the chemicals, because even PM presumed cause.

The general consensus of medical articles on the topic, it is largely unknown people have been developed polymyositis (PM) and dermatomyositis (DM).

Because these diseases are so rare is to assume that the person have a genetic predisposition must. Because these diseases in some families, such as a common genetic disease is estimated to be in addition to the genetic susceptibility is essential. An unusually high number of genes coding for tumor necrosis factor alpha is (cons genes to fight cancer) is frequently observed in patients with the Prime Minister, DM or other autoimmune diseases.

Suspected causes are the presence of cancer (especially MS), a cancer that exist and were destroyed by the immune system, drugs (and not as a toxin that causes a myopathy different, but the drugs that will trigger the immune response or PM DM) toxins in fresh tropical fish, and finally the virus.

The way we read the reports and descriptioNS unlikely that a large number of triggers, to the PM and DM in different people, but because of the lag in time between the activation of the immune response PM or DM, muscle weakness and extreme enough to be observed every month, or even a few Years later, the cause is rarely determined.

PM and DM are both very rare circumstances, the estimates of 10,000 to 1 in 100,000 (more common in northern latitudes 1).

And the list of chemicals were often used, as long as for painters, metal workers, and other industries.

So I doubt that chemicals, which takes the list of PM or DM

I am not a doctor. I have a close friend who is diagnosed with diabetes mellitus in 2-1/2 years. DM has symptoms very similar to PM and the current treatments for both diseases are similar, what I've read a lot about both. Who is the source of my familiarity with the disease.
